Not your ordinary lechon belly

My head says "Gym" but my tummy craves for "lechon belly". So in quest of fulfilling my cravings, we ended up from the southern part of Metro Manila to Marikina Riverbanks to have a taste of the belly, I meant the lechon belly of King Belly.

Started last November 2016, King Belly's owner envisioned of providing delicious food on a cheaper price, Classified as a fast food but quality is not compromised. The owner's mixed root started the journey in developing their signature lechon belly, with Cebuano-Ilocano-ManileƱo approach, "King Belly" was born, creating a new standard in providing quality food.

Owner of King Belly

Being the only store as of the moment, the owner is very hands on with the business, making sure that all his customers experience the way he wanted to be treated as a customer.

Their food menu ranges from 48 php, yes you read it right, 48 bucks! With the options of Sweet Soy Chicken, Lumpiang sisig bowl, Chicken and gravy bowl this is definitely "bang for the buck" without compromising the taste.

They also have unlimited rice for those hungry bellies, for the price of 98 php for Solo and 128 php for unlimited rice, you can select from these menu
Lechon sinigang
Lechon Paksiw
Lechon Belly
Pork BBQ (2 sticks)
Boneless Bangus
Inihaw na Liempo
Chicken Inasal (Paa)
Lechon Sisig

A lot to choose from but definitely delicious and very affordable.

 BONELESS LECHON BELLY
this is not an ordinary lechon belly, this is "THE BONELESS LECHON BELLY", a must try and the star of King Belly

I didn't believe at first but I ended up speechless and amazed with how this lechon belly tasted, I ought to lessen my rice intake but it was broken due to this. Exploding with flavor and not to mention the appetizing aroma, will definitely take down a rice cooker full of rice. Kidding aside, I would like to dare you to taste it and experience it your self to tell the difference of their boneless lechon belly.

 Pansit with Lechon Belly

During our visit with my wife and daughter we made sure to taste all their best sellers and their Pancit was topped with lechon skin which made the dish more appetizing and we are not disappointed with the taste and not to mention the generous serving.

So next time that you'll be in Marikina, don't forget to drop by King Belly and taste the difference!
